Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text (meaning its purpose is form rather than content) and is used in the printing and publishing industries. Lorem Ipsum has been the standard dummy text since the 15th century, when an unknown printer arranged a collection of letters randomly taken from a text to create a booklet serving as a template or reference for these letters. Five centuries have not erased this text; in fact, it is still used in its original form in printing and typesetting. It became widely popular in the 1960s with the release of Letraset plastic sheets containing passages of this text, and it spread again recently with the advent of desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker, which also included versions of the Lorem Ipsum text.
